We're out of silver? Shhhttt.....All right. Fire up the presses. We'll bring back the "silver certificate". Only this time it's exchangeable for a "silver derivative." The derivative's backing will be in a special and separate silver ETF (no physical silver, of course, but no one cares, and if they do care they find they have just lost their job and promised interview with the journalist has been cancelled).
