Robert,

Per-Share Data
Book Value (mrq) $3.90
Earnings (ttm) $0.61
Sales (ttm) $4.85
Cash (mrq) $1.06

The usual parameters don't make CYMI a value play.
The previous discussions came up with an earnings stream,
but assumed 100% market share.

For a value play I would discount an earnings stream
based on 33-50% market share (2 competitors - COHR and Komatsu).

I haven't done this, so if you do, please post your numbers.

Cary

Robert: Yes, please post your CYMI estimates in the spreadsheet you posted a few days back. Although my figures differ in some respects, I must say that your estimate is the best I have seen posted on the CYMI thread (perhaps because I come in at 1998 with $1.29 eps).

Cary is right. CYMI is not a value investment; it is an earnings story.
