They're concentrating most of the charging stations along the I-5 corridor where people travel millions of miles a year. The cost will have to be competitive with gasoline.

I wasn't listening closely, but I think I heard on TV last night that GM is producing the Volt in order to get the $7500 subsidy from the government. Top me, that's even more objectionable than cash for clunkers.
