Then we can declare ourselves good and the people we don't like evil. Just as liberals do .... just as you and bentway just did. In fact, Christianity means acknowledging one's own sinfulness ... just the opposite of what you suggest. Its more logical to posit atheism as something to mollify one's conscience.
