he looked really good for his first match--he was definitely the aggressor--there is nothing like getting mat time--to improve his skills
your commentary was great
has your wife gone yet?--my wife who knew nothing about wrestling became an avid fan an SCREAMER--so much so that i had to sit away from her.lol

its a great sport--the conditioning is amazing-as you get more serious your training 5-6 days a week-and there's nothing like being out there by yourself - builds a lot of self confidence and there is alot of bonding between the kids and the parents

if he likes it i would encourage him to keep it up--its going to be harder on you watching his matches than on him--i was a nervous wreck for all his matches---and he was as calm as could be

For his first match, I thought JXN looked really good....and after only 6 weeks.

However, the camera man needs a little work on his technique.

I remember going to my youngest son's first wrestling match. I was a nervous wreck, but I got used to it after awhile. I thought it was kind of violent, but I learned it really isn't. His experience with wrestling was very positive.
