The PowerPoint slide above is from an actual presentation created by a Special Forces soldier serving in Iraq. That soldier was a Special Forces Captain who was later KIA. He knew in depth what was needed. Our regular army officers are still loath to demonstrate or admit their ignorance of how to fight an insurgency. Their immediate goal now is to make a 9 year war into a 15 year war. The colonel nailed it. The title of the Colonel's presentation could be, "You can't fool all of the people all of the time."
