The TV had government service messages it seemed every 3 commercials. Yuck - when I was watching Armed Forces Korea Network (AFKN) in South Korea they can't have real commercials so they fill time on the military TV stations with all kinds of helpful messages - nauseating to say the least. Don't beat your wife/kids.... Save your money.... Watch your drinking..... Think operations security.... If you judged a society by the commercials they watched you would not have a high opinion of those fine American men and women in uniform.
