Ted, > I was furious when Dem leaders started talking unity for the State of the Union and not sitting by party.

That's too bad Ted. You've chosen your political agenda over reconciliation.

That's right. You don't break bread with thieves.

If I were a Congressman, I would definitely sit next to members of the other party. Might not mean much, but anything is better than nothing.

The Rs never even acknowledged the suggestion. I am sure they were laughing all the way to their latest fundraiser.

The alternative is to contribute to the nastiness that led to the atrocious reaction to the Giffords shooting. Which is what you're obviously doing.

Trust me, I am not buying into this nonsense being put out by Obama, the Dems and the Rs that the Rs had nothing to do with this shooting. That's the biggest crock getting fed to this country these days. Rs have everything to do with that shooting.....from pushing the carrying of weapons to refusing any reasonable gun control to encouraging violence through violent rhetoric to causing the current economic malaise gripping this country to putting certain legislators on a map with a rifle crosshair on that legislator's name.

Shooting victim arrested, accused of threat

James Eric Fuller, who was shot in the knee and back in last week's Tucson rampage, allegedly shouts, 'You're dead!' at a 'tea party' activist during a town hall meeting for victims and witnesses.
