Apple doesn't have to fear Android. It only needs to respect its competitor. At the end of the day, Apple doesn't even need a gargantuan slice of the market. The company will make far more money on the iPhone than Google will with its eventually larger Android base.

It all started with the fascists in the Apple thread. They are scared sh*tless of anything not Apple or that it competes with Apple. And as I explained previously it's all due to their greed. So IMO, once Apple starts sliding they will bail on it when money is no longer there for them to make in its stock. So the downward slide will be even bigger than anyone thinks.
