I didn't know about Yucca Mountain. There is a prevailing view among globalists though that the US is too wealthy and a desire to equalize the wealth of nations. Think income redistribution. Cap and Trade is not just a scam to make some people rich, but to knock the US down a few notches and make it more equivalent with poorer nations.
