fac: the authors express an interesting view that I share, suggesting how most of society will adapt to the awaiting and inevitable downsides of moving beyond peak easily-available energy; there are going to be 'corrections' in the classic way that markets of all types invariably correct, and the manner in which individuals and regional segments of society adapt will depend on their fitness or lack thereof in classic darwinian style... but there's nothing new in any of this... pain is a primary teacher ....
