Basically, I think about the long term, and don't worry about day-to-day swings very much. I just don't have the time. Just knowing that all the financial stocks are so beat up, I know I will make my profit at some point, and it will be taxed at 15%.

I know I could probably make money by trading it, but holding just suits my personality I guess.

I also have good growth stocks like QCOM and SNDK that help ease the pain when FAS goes down. I also have had AAPL for about a year. Other than that I have quite a bit in energy stocks (BP, CVX, APC, HAL, OXY, EPD) which pay dividends and should make something over time.

Trading account is up 30% for the last 12 months, faz to fas has not been a source of gains and I agree the European bank and sovereign debt has made them less then helpful as a means of managing Tarp warrants value. I have over the last 12 months shifted to specific warrants as opposed the broad diversification. Concentration has been to Signate New York and Valley National warrants with adds on weakness. I have
traded out of BAC "l" over par and a few weeks ago rotated back in at 765.00. At this price the yield is over 9% and looking forward to selling at par again for a 30% profit. Did well on the mtw fall to below 7, but got burned on the hek warrant where I could not raise the funds to convert all holdings. Those I did did get me back to even, the rest lost me 17K.
