I can well imagine that this generation growing up, is going to have a much harder time with innovation than their predecessors....
Our group didn't grow up with TV, Video Games, Videos as babysitters, not much organized sport, if any...we were pretty inventive on our own.

Our parents didn't arrange "play dates" for us.

We arranged them for ourselves, after we got permission from both sets of parents to play together.

We read books upon books, and imagined what the characters looked like, and what the surroundings look like, etc.

We actually looked up the sky and watched clouds form, and thought about what shapes they looked like to us.....

When was the last time we have seen young kids do any of that today?
