Are you playing any of the dividend paying oil and oil/gas producers like DAY, SU, CPG and CNX? What are your favorites?

I am slowly learning the oil and gas sector. It is seem to me to be more about selling hope about a hole in the ground. Ssometime you get lucky.

Dale seems to have worked out some formula for evaluating valuations and management, but I still find it hard to have any confidence in the projections.

WFE is a gas play that seems to have made a decent run lately, based more on a recommendation from Sprott as opposed to material news. If the assertions of the other analyst last night on BNN are accurate I am not sure why WFE is going anywhere. I am back to work next week though. : (

I am kicking the tires on CHE.UN as a dividend stock with some upside if commodity prices increase. They process a form of acid necessary for a lot of industrial processes.

I am off this week trying to use up some vacation time from last year, but I don't usually get the luxury to watch the markets more closely and do research like the go go days of the tech bubble. It has been fun, doing it like in the boom days.
