The link didn't work but I read your post which I'm guessing is the article.

All I can say is that the big Kahuna has stated facts before and hasn't delivered the goods. Have you ever heard of the story of the boy that cried wolf. Corel's saga sort of reminds me of this.

The problem we have here is just like the start of this year COJ was going to be the big product. All the analysts stated this could happen but they said we'll wait to see how it turns out. Well guess what no COJ.
Now we have the next big product. I am guessing but I think most investors will be taking a wait and see attitude and the stock will do nothing for a few quarters. I could be wrong but this is what you call dead money.

The question I still have is what is going to make office apps sell since past performance indicates it's not selling very good.

The NC market is heating up IBM, Oracle, Applix, a German company and some time soon MS.

I just might have to check out Corel's booth at Comdex to see exactly what they have so far.
