Here's the next saga in the Dr. Kermet Gosnell saga... nytimes.com excerpt: A grand jury report issued on the same day offered its own theory on why so little happened for so long. “We think the reason no one acted is because the women in question were poor and of color,” the report said... --- Let me get this straight... Society was forced to accept a rubber-stamped-affirmative-action "doctor" because he is Black, and he when he screwed up and murdered and maimed a large number of patients under his care due to his own incompetencies, racism is blamed. Unbelievable. Incidentally, I would bet the farm that the "grand jury" was mostly, if not completely, comprised of Blacks. The abbreviated dialog in this whole affair probably went something like this... Egalitarians: "Make this man, Mr. Kermet Gosnell, a doctor!" Realists: "We cannot. He's not qualified." Egalitarians: "He's not qualified because the tests were written by racists and biased against Blacks! You're racists! Everybody look! We've got racists and bigots here! They said this Black man cannot be a doctor!" Realists: "Okay. Okay. Calm down. Please accept our sincere apologies. He's a doctor. Congratulations Dr. Gosnell. We hope you establish a successful medical practice." Then, years later, after Gosnell stands accused of brutally murdering and maiming scores of patients and babies in his community due to his incompetencies and lack of skills and qualifications (and after 15 malpractice lawsuits)... Egalitarians: "These atrocities occurred because the victims were of color!" Realists: "We agree that this is a tragedy, but we did try to warn you that Mr. Gosnell was not qualified to be a doctor. We tried to tell you that, but you accused us of racism, bias, and bigotry." Egalitarians: "That's because you are racists and bigots! Everybody look! We've got racists and bigots here! They are responsible for these dead and maimed patients and babies!" It never ends, GZ...
