You may be right, but I don't think Kodak/Fuji is analogous to Western Digital/Fujitsu. I think Fuji film is an excellent product and buy it because its usually less expensive than Kodak. I'm not sure I would buy a PC at a few dollars less if it had drives I didn't know about or didn't trust.

That said, there certainly is no great urgency to get into WDC, and a safer course than getting in at current price may be to, as you suggest, continue to watch. If it does turn back up you might lose a few points potential profit, while avoiding further downside risk. Good luck with your strategy.
