Re <<Interesting that LU is a she and TXN is a he in your book. How do you differentiate gender in stocks>>

Interesting observation. Sounds like the criteria is SOUND, which is not to say it is a sound criteria although it would, in fact, be a sound criteria, one way if not another.

How does that answer sound??

Judy, *** OFF TOPIC ***

I do a lot of mathematical programming to determine what resources are "strategic", and how much to pay to acquire market share. I started as one of those over-educated baby-boomers who wound up in investment banking after the Apollo program ended. Then "retired" from that and moved to San Francisco around 1979 to join the microcomputer party. I stuffed a bunch of old, mainframe LP stuff that I used to use to optimize portfolios into an 8-bit, Z80 micro, and called it an "alloy synthesizer" ( makes me laff now just recalling it :-) Rather than recycling something by using it again, or re-producing the same thing again, I wanted to explore re-combinant recycling, where you mix stuff together and make something entirely new. Anyway, 20 years later, I'm back where I started, wearing a suit and working for a big corporation. I miss my red motorcycle and the lazy days in SFO.

Good evening, Judy.

Let's have some more numbers to play with. Look at all these
zeroes on W%R. Also, INDU and NDX are below 200ema now but
OEX/SPX/COMPX are still OK. How does one define a bear market?
All indices float below 200ema for a prolonged period of time?
