I live in SoCal and did most of my business in Watts, Compton, Mayfair, Gardena and South Gate for years. I have seen it all..once saw a kid about 12 drop his gun while riding on a bike...he just circled around and picked it up. Called LAPD and got a laugh. I literally ran over a gang member who was on the hood of my car while his bro's were trying to get in. As I look back on the Watts riots and the King riots it is very fortunate that those people were not armed with the weapons they have today. Wish I had an answer to all of this but MTV, "gangsta rap" and the media's fascination with today's bad guys breeds horrible stuff among the young. Never thought I would ever say anything like this but I am glad Tupac is dead.
