Sure the sixties had riots, but there still wasn't as many people actively engaged in politics as today and you can bet if the welfare checks stopped going out today, the sixties would look like nothing.

When we look at the mostly leftist riots of the 60's and compare them today to the Tea Party events of the last two years, it does provide a good contrast, doesn't it?
