He has omitted the approval of Brilliant Barry's handling of the economy because they weren't as generous. I think many people are uncomfortable saying they don't approve of a black man. This may distort the personal approval polls but not in the handling of the economy polls. That situation used to always show up in polls where the black candidate always led in the polls but lost big in the election. There is a name for this Phenomenon but it slips me at the moment.
