Re: "Why would his family in Kenya lie?" They didn't. The American self-promoter who trumped-up that video was the one who lied. He mis-translated the grandmother's answers to his questions. (It's all on the tape.) When he asked if Obama was born in Kenya she clearly answered (several times) 'No, in Hawaii'. But since she wasn't speaking in English he was able to put a fake translation to it when he pushed the video all over the place. Earning a lucrative speaking career for himself for a while. <g>
