Some of us are braver than others :-) I did quite a bit of research before going ahead with the procedure. If you are not nearsighted, there is little point. I am not sure of the status of the procedure for farsightedness.

I love my Lasik surgery!

seven year of absolutely no problems.

I do use reading glasses for fine work, but I don't need them for reading. I did get the option where my passive eye was tuned for reading rather than optimal distance vision.

If you see distance 20/15, don't touch your eyes.

I can see 20/15 for about 2 inches. I have the worst eyes of anyone I know. When I wore hard contact lenses I could see 20/15, but I was young then.
