In all seriousness, you sound like a guy that really knows what he is talking about. So, I would very much value your explanation to a rookie like me as to how Intel is a technology loser! Thank you very, very much for your time. I'm sure you are very busy and your posts do show deep throat (I'm sorry, I mean thought) behind them!!

John

PS - I'm a concerned holder of Intel....

Investor A

<The coming and biggest markets are coming from China and India. However, the end users from both countries could not afford the expensive Intel processors or pay premiums for the overpriced Dell PC at all. These two big virginal markets are to be explored and dominated by Cyrix MediaGX sub-$499 PC in the next five years. By sticking with the technology loser, Intel, Dell is insulated from any new market. Even worse, the world keeps on moving for better and cheaper computing without the participation of Dell. It is not Dell doesn't have the interest. The problem are that Dell has no technology or manufacturing facilities to dance with the change.
Low 10s is reasonable for DELL.

That's the first time I've heard a corporate "end user" buyer defined like someone eating soup in a cave.

Your accusation of Intel as a technology loser is like calling Michael Jordan a sorry excuse for a basketball player. It just doesn't hold water.

Lastly, your suggestion that Dell can't dance "with the change" further displays your lack of understanding of Dell's highly advanced manufacturing prowess.

Simply put. Leave the crack pipe alone for a while.

-Eric

Intel, the technology loser. Wait, stop the presses, I think I may be in the presence of an original insight--Andy Grove, quick, sell, sell, sell, while you still can--Investor A(nus) has spoken!
