Perhaps John Thune - but I need to know more about him.

Thune lost me when he played both sides on earmarks during the lame duck session. Typical unprincipled political ploy.

I suspect that Herman Cain could meet some of what you described in your post.

I see Mr. Lucky said Herman Cain might meet your goals.... I am most interested to know more about him, especially on foreign policy.

We need someone who can do all the things you mentioned, but honestly, I hate to say this, but he/she needs "likability" and/or "charisma" too....

For instance, maybe The Donald would be able to do some of that....but I'm sorry, he'd have to be easier on the eyes and ears for me (and probably most of the country) to listen to him.

I'd like him/her to know themselves well enough to know they didn't have to shovel their religion on anyone else, but yet is a leader who has inner integrity and moral strength because of the personal beliefs he/she holds dear.

We need someone that the Democrats respect, and who can't be walked on by them.
