Big Bucks, because your input is so valuable to this thread I want you to make money the easy way just like I did last year when, in my quest to regain the 77% lost in my capital, I stumbled on LEAPs---the saviour LEAPs I fondly called "Leaping out of the Alamo LEAPs" Here's the reply I posted yesterday for Digital Man; I slightly edited it to correct "Jan '99 30 Leap Calls" into "Jan '98 30 Leap Calls" :--- To: Digital Man (10697 ) From: Tito L. Nisperos Jr. Tuesday, Nov 11 1997 7:36AM EST Reply #10700 of 10735 Digital Man, The 25 price you mentioned is close to the 23 where I bought the LEAPs and the All-Time high now of 54 3/16 is close to the 59 7/8 previous All-time high--- so what happened before could happen again...I bought the Jan '98 30 Leap Calls at 4/share rather than the 20 because it was cheaper and thus I got more LEAPs for the same amount of money (but looking back, I would have done well also or better with the 40 or 50 with more LEAPs for the money because the stock went way up to the 108ths). I figured that, knowing the stock always comes back to hit new highs, the stock should hit the new high some 9 months later. I was prepared also to Roll-over the LEAPs to the Jan 2000s if I thought the LEAPs need more time to prove their worth. To my pleasant surprise, the stock did hit the new high sometime in APR-May '97, some 9 months from when I bought the LEAPs in Aug '96! That is one of a few instances when my predictions were on target!...From 4/share to 80/share a 40K could have ballooned to 800K in just 1 year!...Are we seeing this happening again?
