The depression tax increases and percentages are unbelievable

FDR actually proposed a 100% tax (effectively an income cap) at one point. Fortunately it was shot down, but even the actual rates where beyond the revenue maximizing rate (not that I want to hit the revenue maximizing rate, I'd want taxes to be much lower, but its really stupid when you exceed that rate, you hurt the economy more, and get less revenue)
