a clip of Bernstein, (of Woodward &), on some talk show claiming that Sarah Palin didn't know where Russia was

As you said, "What an ASS."

Here's a guy, who at one time enjoyed the applause of the entire world - a hero.

What an ASS he's become.

I cringed watching him in that interview, slouching down in that chair. He couldn't even sit upright, slurring his words.

And he got it all wrong - a credentialed reporter - he actually repeated as the TRUTH that Sarah Palin said she could see Russia from her place. He really did say that.

One of the most lionized reporters in America did actually say that.

I'm stunned. Why isn't everyone else taken aback by this? Why doesn't anyone correct this?

Bernstein

Woodward kept producing after Watergate, Bernstein pretty well disappeared. A "One Trick Pony." Bernstein was a "Red Baby," both his parents were very active Communists that the FBI went after in the 50s. Bernstein finally admitted they were in his Bio. The apple didn't fall very far from the tree.
