Barry, re: that AD! I've said it before too...but I'll expound on it a little more.

Trying to drive "brand name awareness" of the Intel microprocessor
via television ads that feature boogy'in' bunny-suited cleanroom workers is worse than trying to sell diamonds by showing dancing diamond miners at work, or trying to sell Jeeps or Mercedes or Fords by showing singing assembly-line workers. Worse, because most people UNDERSTAND what diamonds and cars are and do.
They don't really understand what microprocessors do...and these commercials only make them less understandable ... computers seem more "inhuman"...

How about grandparents e-mailing grandchildren?? As Michael Cummings suggested earlier...veterans finding each other on the net?? Warmer, fuzzier stories & perhaps glimpses into the future and the incredible things we'll be able to do because of microprocessors.

or...Bewildered investors trying to understand Intel's marketing strategy and product roadmap learning about it... via their computer... from well-informed and erudite posters like Mr. Engle and others here....
