Oh, Skipper: Though your style, tone, manner, are so deliberative, considered, and respectful, it seems an underlying concept separates you from me by spanless chasms. You say (believe?): But most of all, we both value independence. It is one thing to profess it, another to demonstrate it. In this context, our thoughts will never mingle. Your "independence" clashes, almost violently, with my "interdependence." It is the, sort of, "I-am-God" versus the "we are" view of our essential natures. George
