Fascinating, isn't it? Congruent with Steve Jobs stepping aside at Apple yesterday, Larry Page took over as CEO of Google. Coincidence? I don't know, but it caught my eye.

Arguably, if Jobs is gone Google is in a better competitive position with the their Droid smart phones and open internet architecture than Jobs and his "closed garden," no flash players, I control all the apps, approach.

In other words, if Jobs goes it's going to affect whether you or I get our info (entertainment, news, etc) through cable or the internet. Jobs is irreplaceable. Anybody remember John Sculley at Apple in the early 90's?

If Jobs lives my guess is there is a greater chance of government control over the info flow through the internet. Jobs is as much of a control freak as any of our current left wing government fascists. He's already lined up with ATT with the I phone and I pad, and Disney through his control of Pixar.

So arguably if Jobs lives or dies will substantially affect the information and capital flows in this country for the next 30 or 40 years.

one man, one liver, one kidney with a huge potential impact on our country.
