Nice positive ADSL news today...things are really starting to get
rollin.

As WSTL/AMTX stock gets squeezed downward it reminds me of a 10 ft
spring being retracted to just about an inch. When it gets to an inch
watch out...wouldn't want to get in the way of that spring
unloading...looking forward to the AMTX/WSTL merger beign complete and
the beginning of the new year!!!

By the way...when did COMS hook up with AFCI (see #2 below)????

[Nov. 17]

<<<What is on Nov. 17th that they would announce?>>

I don't know what's on November 17 that would serve as reason for GTE to make an announcement. They're not attending Comdex, so there can't be any connection there. (Lew Wilkes, one of the speakers, is no longer with GTE.)

Will they announce ADSL deployment? I've heard they will, but until I see it reflected in the stock, I'll remain cautiously optimistic.

Better than an announcement is the fact they're actually installing lines --- both FlexCap and Allegros --- beyond what they need for the trials.

I have to believe at some point they'll tell the world what's going on.
