I am very upset too. I am still holding the 47 1/2 for Nov calls. But that is the market. There are some people making a mint on AGPH, the traders. The spread between the bid and ask, has been almost a dollar. I think that this is all just the market. Look at the volume.

BTW the Agouron Advisory Panel is this Saturday AM. My BIG question will not be Viracept(I know just how good it is), or even Thymitaq?, it will be the cold spray. That is where the BIG MONEY is in this company. The day that comes out the stock will go up over $1000, then I will sell my shares.

Their next HIV product will be an Integrase Inhibitor (the NIH asked them for it), likely not another PI.

Izzy,

Extra frustrating not really seeing any reasons for the drop.
It's strange, I bought most of my shares BEFORE the approval of Viracept and payed more ,an average of 44 (88 presplit).
At that time AGPH was running at a $3 loss.
Well, then there was approval and the stock immediately nose-dived!

Now, when all fundamentals look very good (at least to me),
there is talk about shorting at 41.

A profitable company, increasing sales at a rate of at least 10% per MONTH, interesting pipeline....a shorting candidate?

Guess I have to wait for the longterm, hoping that the dreaded margin calls won't be necessary.

Would appreciate some IMS figures to calm down.

Regards
ps
