It's going to be interesting with that recent CFTC ruling, effectively permitted Naked Shorting of Gold, Silver, and other precious metals.

The fact is that there was rampant NS in US Treasuries prior to the Trillion dollar stimulus knowing that there would be supply available to cover their positions.

So now they're going to throw money at the Precious metals ETFs and force liquidation until max pain is achieved and the selling dries up.

And if the SHIBOR issue becomes worse, can we not all see Bejing piling in on the short side of PMs in order to save the Yuan from decoupling with the USD?

After all, they are the largest miner of Gold and can sell forward any number of years of production.
