Lisa, at this point, I'm just looking for support levels on the traditionally strong companies (on the long side) - but honestly, I've been selling (short) into any kind of strength since last Wednesday, when I bit the bullet and started liquidating my portfolio.

I feel like the market is moving the stocks, rather than the other way around. As a consequence, I am now focused on simply selling the market indices at any re-tracement to strength; ie., when the DJIA rallies and then fails to surpass 7600, and then when it rallied and failed to surpass 7500 yesterday, for example.

I like to hold equities long, Lisa - but somehow I feel more comfortable shorting (or buying PUTs) on the index, rather than doing the same in stocks.

What have you been doing with your $$$ in the past two weeks ?
