You missed the first thing that was said "I got this one!" This "war" endangers everyone. Law abiding citizens should be issued body armor. We should be able to know if it's the "good guys" or the "bad guys" kicking in the door. The person inside the home has one chance to survive. If it's the good guys, then they must have their hands raised above their heads the moment the door opens. If it's the bad guys, then the civilian has one single moment to arm themselves. It is that very moment, the civilian decides the action that will keep themselves alive. To arm or not to arm? That question needs more information to properly answer. And more than one single second to decide. These paramilitary tactics endanger everyone.
