IF the government would stay out of the aviation business, except for necessary oversight, the costs of the "hammers, toilets, pipes" etc would probably be about 1/10th of what they actually cost the customer. I can see the cost when the item is a 'one of a kind' or even a 'one in 500' of something.....but on the little plastic gidget and strap thing I mentioned, after hundreds of thousands of the same thing had been made, one would think there would be a lessening of the cost.

If government regulated computers like they do everything medical, the PC computers would still cost over $5,000 for one like I bought about 1989-90....they were new, but not THAT new.... Now we can buy small laptops for what....$4-500.00 or so, with a much greater speed and HD capacity....

Agree with this....

From Obama we have health care reform without addressing the lawyers and we have Fin Reg reform without addressing Freddie and Fannie. That is all you need to know about the morality of the Obama administration.
