That is so outdated... they are talking about 1.6 for God's sake... based on those writings Android never should have made it to 2.1 let alone 2.2, 2.3 and very soon 3.0... the charts speak for themselves... onwards and upwards... proving the naysayers wrong every day...

The best thing that could happen to iPhone market is fragmentation of the smart phone market which is inevitable. A large number of consumers will look at it this way: It is not worth saving $50 on a $200 smart phone with a two year life. $50 worth of hassling negates any savings. It is not worth spending 10 hours trying to figure out which model is the best value either. The best thing is to pay the $50 premium for the closest thing to a bullet proof model.
