Maybe the truest libertarian might manage to escape that pejorative but even they have strong ideas about how society should be structured and wouldn't mind overpowering the rest of us to bring their vision to pass.

The truest libertarian would not approve of overpowering others to bring their vision to pass. If you read the Libertarian party philosophy it is all about non-force, non-coercive government. However, this does not mean that libertarians are passive. Most libertarians will fight, enthusiastically, any attempt that others make to force their vision, will, desire etc... on them.
