As we have been saying for
the past couple of months, badly deteriorating chart configurations in the
leadership stocks suggest that the tech sector is sick and getting sicker...
While the Nasdaq may be nearly 80 points above its 10/28 low, Dell
Computer, Texas Instruments, KLA-Tencor, 3Com, Teradyne,
Quantum, Gateway 2000, Novellus, Bay Networks and Applied
Materials were among the major players that took out their 10/28 lows...
Poised to do the same are AOL, Compaq, Sun Microsystems,
Hewlett-Packard, Computer Associates, Oracle, National
Semiconductor and Lucent... With the exception of the disk-drive and
chip equipment stocks, most of the companies listed above continue to
sport relatively high multiples... Add the lofty valuations to the poor
technical tone and there is no good reason to expect a sustained recovery.

I couldn't say it any better myself. Does anyone drink coffee here? I love the smell of a brewing pot. Let's wake up and take a whiff.

You thinking riding down tech stocks instead of being in cash RIGHT NOW is a good thing?
