How did that come to be? This kind of thing has been going on since civilization started. Get your tribal chief to give you an exclusive deal in the village. The medical profession has always got the Gov to limit competition by crying "safety." The "Guilds" of the middle ages have extended their tentacles to the present day. Then I was in the cabinet business I wanted everybody out there contending to give me the best deal on material and labor. But when I sold my cabinets I wanted no competition. That's the way of the world.
