Robert, Ameritrade changes their rules on margin daily, right at the worst time they put the squeeze on you, the other day they sold 20,000 of my shares at market, my shares were the ones that caused the market to tank to 3 1/16, while them knowing full well i had other shares that i wanted to dump when this occured. Yesterday they call me with another margin call, saying they only margin above two dollars, saying i had another 8500.00 call, it had to be met by friday. By the way i was a 78% equity in my account, and my margin balance was a mere 20,800.00, but the other holding was for insurance, a non marginable security called NALF. If it had not tanked also, over the last couple of days i would have sold Nal Financial to buy more Osicom.
