TechHunter: A great idea. I sent rsc some questions yesterday in post # 9237, but do not know if he did go to Cymer eventually. The following are the questions (with some additions and modifications): Please disregard if you already have them or deemed inappropriate. You may not obtain any answer for some---and perhaps all---of these questions, depending on who you ask? I wish to suggest that you sit down with both the CFO and CEO. If possible also with the new IR company rep. 1.The exact wordings of Cymer's agreement with its customers regarding making press releases. It would be nice if you could obtain a sanitized copy of it. Also, ask if press releases can be made by their customers ( e.g., the latest ASMLF press release about a Korean project)? There should always be something good yet significant enough for Cymer to make press releases without breaching its contract agreement (they might tell you that they could not simply make up a story to please Wall Street). 2. Can they provide information to you regarding the IR company they hire as to their immediate policy to rescue this stock. What are their current activities? Are they sending information around as eagerly as the stockholders? Are they also holding CYMI stocks? 3. Will they pay attention to the support of individual investors like us, e.g., by assigning someone (form Cymer or its IR company) to subscribe to this thread and answer questions to the extend that he/she does not go beyond the legal limit (the answer may be no, but a good PR department may have a certain mechanism to do this). 4. Can they be more specific regarding their near future growth after 2 quarters. You may not get a direct answer to this, but if they seem to be optimistic. For example, do they have new contracts that ere not covered in the latest CC. Also, with this current situation in Japan in the last two weeks, there could be new information regarding their first two customers, Nikon and Canon, whether their orders can still be reshuffled to ASMLF and SVGI without major problems (this can be an indication that near term growth is still intact). At any rate try to obtain as much information about this. Are there any other potential clients they are working on besides those we already know? 5. It does not hurt to probe into the potential stock buyback. Please be careful, I am sure there have been a lot of stock buyback suggestions/questions bordering on stock buyback "rumors." The last thing we wish from Cymer is to deny such as a rumor. 6. Please ask if they have received Emile Vidrine theory regarding convertible bonds. Provide them additional copies and ask what their opinion is. Do they realize the CYMI volume in the last few days? Do they know that CYMI is on top of the shorters' list? do they realize that with a single press release, they can blow all the shorts away and stabilize the stock? 7. If the situation permits (and as you become closer to them), you may ask why Bill Angus has only 10,000 shares of CYMI while others have significantly higher figures? This question can only be asked after you checked their recent numbers. The figure I indicated is rather old and rendered unreliable (before the Needham debacle). Angus may already add some shares recently. So please do check the numbers first. 8. Finally, ask if you could use a tape recorder during your interview. Thank you for representing us all Good luck and God Bless us all. PS. CYMI 17 3/8x17 5/8 as I wrote this note.
