Cy is the only chip co I am looking at becuase it is selling for a price to book of 1.6, considerably less than the rest, the insider buying is pretty encouraging. Any other insiders buying?

He is most likely blaming the lower stock price on selling by uninformed investors who do not understand the semiconductor business. On the other hand, on the cover of the 1996 annual report, he told shareholders that we would see $1 billion revenue levels in 1997. Failing that outlook, shareholders were told in July 1997 that Cypress might hit record quarterly revenues in the fourth quarter of this year, or early next year 1998. I do not know about next year, but you can forget about record revenues this year!
