I didn't mean to seem dismissive, and you could be correct in the end. For now what I see is a fluid situation brought on by a lot of "management by crisis" not "management by objective". I don't see the intent you do, just attempts by this administration give assistance to a slew of companies, with nothing set in stone. As for setting corporate pay, I assume you're referring to those companies that received bailouts of some kind? If so, I don't see a problem with that. It can happen in the private sector, too, when a bank is working out a bad loan.
