This is exactly how I perceive it, and is my main reason for opposing democrats. I really don't care what label a person puts behind their name as long as that person believes more in individual rights and responsibility rather than the "government can do it all" attitude of most on the left. It is great to see that not all Americans are ignoring events, and you are proof that some are actually paying attention to what is going on around them and want a change. I've really been enjoying your posts. They have been enlightening, and educational, so thanks for participating in the argument. Democrats believe society is better off when some behviors are modified, shaped, even controlled, and they are willing to achieve that end with legislation, i.e. government force.
