From the Yahoo! Finance page, the Nikkei is down about 199.60 points or 1.47 percent at 15234.57 as of 9:02 EST and the Hang Seng is down about 140.86 points or 1.47 percent at 9467.05 as of 10:29 EST. I think it is still early in the trading day over there. The Nikkei dropped a lot more (about 400 points total) but bounced back. In any case, it looks bad for the open tomorrow.

Pierre: I was on Yahoo earlier, Nikkei way down (355) early on but "recovered" to -199. Hang seng started low too. Hey, let's all lighten up on John Doe, he's entiltled to his opinion and at least is polite and no "Happy Investing" shit. I think his approach is right, wish he wouls post more fact/analysis versus opinion, though. Everyone is uptight now, things will turn around, always have, always will, remember 1929?
