Jack: I was also very intrigued by the book, however, it is difficult for those that are not familiar with the Hebrew language (I include myself) to make an accurate assessment, I believe. Remember, we are dealing with a language that omits vowels. The Appendix certainly was impressive as this was a controlled test and gained a very high confidence interval. I felt the body of the book was poorly written, repetitive, and not very scientific. Still, I think that the matter deserves greater and more complete attention. There are some internet sites available:
grapho.net
and software available:
torah.net (compliments of Joshua, post 8981.

After you chew on this awhile, let us know what your assessment is.

God Bless,
Lee

John Wimber 1934-1997. Died Monday morning, November 17th.
A former night-club musician, heavy smoker and drinker---he was thoroughly converted. Was on ministerial staff for the Friends for several years---became charismatic---and ultimately the "father" of the over 400 Vineyard churches. His "power" course that he taught at Fuller Seminary, became so controversial, he was finally relieved of teaching the course.
Whether you agree with Wimber's theology, he at least had a heart for God and emphasized the message of holiness in his later years.
He has probably had as much to do with the singing of chorus' instead of hymns (the modern trend) as any other one individual. He has written a number of chorus'.

God rest his soul.

Jack
