We'll revisit this classic post of yours say two years from now, shall we?

Meanwhile, the facts of the matter are:

1. Apple has plenty of display supply locked in. Zero doubt about that.

2. Apple already knows what size and type of display will sell like hotcakes so they locked in on it, nothing else. Very streamlined, very economically sound.

3. Competition is untried and has no idea what will sell or not, at what size and quantity, ergo cannot lock in supplies of displays, quite yet.

4. Apple will continue cleaning up with iPad and iPad2.

5. "iPad killers" will cannibalize each other and end up taking about a 10% share from Apple, leaving Apple with about 60% of the tablet market by the end of 2012.

I'm bookmarking your post, bookmark mine. At the end of 2012 we'll see who was right and who was dead wrong. (g)
