Alan

Take the profits.

I sold PAIR puts. Didnt take the huge profits thinking they would exoire worthless and look waht happened yesterday andtoday. Pair down 7. Instead of profits I now have losses. Never trust the market specially the market makers. They will play games with you that will boggle your mind. PAIR today GTW next week.

Alan, congratulations on a great play on the options. Like you I'm never certain when to cover. Looks like there is some support at 24 and I might cover there. I'll also be looking at the overall market. If GTW gets to 24 and the overall market is still eroding, then I may stay pat.

I understand that DELL is to report earnings today. That could push the whole group higher. (That will be ironic in the case of GTW, of course) I went long CPQ today. It was the only one of the three (GTW,. DELL, CPQ) that didn't close under its 10/29 low.

Good luck.
