Alan Take the profits. I sold PAIR puts. Didnt take the huge profits thinking they would exoire worthless and look waht happened yesterday andtoday. Pair down 7. Instead of profits I now have losses. Never trust the market specially the market makers. They will play games with you that will boggle your mind. PAIR today GTW next week. ratan

Alan, congratulations on a great play on the options. Like you I'm never certain when to cover. Looks like there is some support at 24 and I might cover there. I'll also be looking at the overall market. If GTW gets to 24 and the overall market is still eroding, then I may stay pat. I understand that DELL is to report earnings today. That could push the whole group higher. (That will be ironic in the case of GTW, of course) I went long CPQ today. It was the only one of the three (GTW,. DELL, CPQ) that didn't close under its 10/29 low. Good luck.
